The Worcestershire Chinese Association was established by Chairman Frankie Tsang in 1999 as a non-profit, voluntary and community sector organisation serving the interests of the local Chinese community. Frankie leads the Association to promote Chinese culture in the county and bridge language and understanding gaps between the Chinese and local communities. The Association has organised Chinese New Year celebrations in the City Centre since 2000 and holds regular fundraising events for local charities and the UK Chinese Education Foundation.

Worcestershire Chinese Association is a not for profit organisation. We welcome the support of Statutory & Voluntary organisations. Worcestershire Chinese Association are actively involved in Fundraising for the Community events it organises and welcomes donations from individuals & other organisations. Our History
The Association has organised Chinese New Year celebrations in Worcester City Centre since the year 2020 and has held regular fundraising events for local charities and local good causes and the UK Chinese Education Foundation. It has close ties with The Worcestershire Ambassadors, The University of Worcester & the Chamber of Commerce.
In addition, the Association organises Poon Choi (Big Bowl) festival for senior residents, participation in the Worcester Dragon Boat races, welcome party for University of Worcester Chinese students, student's visits & other activities. The Association also supports the Development of Business Links with China for Inward Investment and Trade and close ties with Worcester Sister Cities in China.
